Yakushev has inspected the Antipinsky Oil Processing Plant Tyumen agrarians are promised moderate prices of fuel
The Tyumen Oblast Governor Vladimir Yakushev has visited the Antipinsky Oil Processing Plant.
According to the information, obtained by URA.Ru from the Governor press-service, the head of the region inspected the plant laboratories and the production processing chain, even up to pouring the first ton of the obtained product, diesel fuel, intended for agricultural businesses of the Oblast.
«This plant is a new step in developing the economy of the Oblast», said Yakushchev. In his opinion, the start of any new company means new working places and a new taxpayer. «It is of utmost historical importance for the south of the Tyumen Oblast that the region has its own advanced oil processing. The President of Russia constantly repeats that it is time to move from selling raw produce to their subsequent processing. Demand is no problem. The first products of the plant have already been sold out», Vladimir Yakushchev remarked.
At the moment, the first section of the plant produces base products, such as diesel fuel and black oil fuel. Putting the second section into operation will let to start petrol production. When the plant realizes its full capacity, about 80% of its produce will be «light». As Dmitry Mazurov, the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Antipinsky Oil Processing Plant, says, the plant production can be offered by petrol stations of any level even today. «Since the Tyumen oil is of very high quality and it is not mixed with the streams in the Central Russia and comes to us virtually from the borehole, this fuel has everything necessary for the engine to work well. Another product of ours is black oil fuel. Its features are much better if compared to other Russian plants. Its combustion will be environmentally safe», stated the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Antipinsky Oil Processing Plant.
The construction of the first section of the plant finished in the end of July. The project payback period is about 3 years. The second section of the plant is to be completed in the second quarter of 2008. The production capacity will be about 2,000,000 tons a year.
As the Governor Press-Service remarks, the Antipinsky Oil Processing Plant should fully satisfy the demand for diesel fuel in the region and the Tyumen agricultural businesses may hope for moderate prices, since the local fuel cost does not include the transport component. We remind that the market size for oil products in the Tyumen Region is valuated at 1,200,000 tons a year. The main suppliers are the Omsky Oil Processing Plant (550 km from Tyumen), the Ufimsky Oil Processing Plant (800 km) and Permnefteorgsyntez (600 km).
